Personally, I love my yoga practice, however, I love a good cardio workout and a healthy sweat as well.
And what is the best way to do that?
High Intensity Interval training also is known as HIIT workout.
Premises: this pictorial isn’t totally realistic, in fact, I certainly don’t look as fresh and smiley as I do here during a HIIT workout.
Round 1
40 secs Alternate knee lift – knee over hips – hands to the knee
40 seconds slow standing mountain climber – kee over hips – reach as high as you can – right knee up, left arm up and vice-versa
40 seconds high-speed knee lifts – right leg – the arms are in a 90° swinging back and forth
40 seconds high-speed knee lifts – left leg
1 minute recovery walk
Round 2
30 secs Alternate knee lift – knee over hips – hands to the knee
