Today’s tutorial is designed to stretch the shoulders, and twist the torso.

Since I moved to the suburbs, I had to switch from Shala practice to home practice, and sometimes, I miss my teacher’s extra push. Here, I show you how to get that little help from props.
Who doesn’t love a good twist?

Equipment
2 Yoga Blocks
2 Light weights

Exercise 1

Knees on the floor wild open, place the left arm facing the right side, then, place the right hand on top of the left hand. Inhale, take the right arm up, lower the arm toward the floor as much as you can. Breathe x 10 times and repeat to the left side.

Exercise 2

Knees on two foam Yoga blocks wide open place the left arm facing the right side, then, place the right hand on top of the left hand. Inhale, take the right arm up, exhale, lower the arm toward the floor as much as you can. Breathe x 10 times and repeat to the left side.
